Refund policy
Here at Cara Cats, we want you to be happy with your purchase! If you are not satisfied with your purchase, then you may return it per the following requirements:
Returns are accepted within 30 days of the original purchase. Please contact us as soon as possible if you would like to return any of the items in your order. *You must contact us before shipping your order back to Cara Cats*. This way we can be sure to refund you your money as soon as possible. This can be done by submitting the following information via e-mail (caracats.com@gmail.com):
- Full name and contact information
- Order number
- Item(s) being returned
- Reason(s) for return
- Address
The following rules and guidelines apply for returns:
- Returns must be postmarked within 30 days of receipt
- Returned merchandise will only be accepted in its original condition (new, unused, and unwashed, with unremoved, attached tags). It must also be in its original packaging.
- We are not responsible if your return is damaged in shipping due to poor packaging
- We will not be able to refund you if your shipment is lost (insuring your return/using a trackable shipping service is recommended)
- Refunds will not be issued if the above guidelines are not met

When making a return shipment, please include the following in a note inside the box with your shipment to ensure timely processing:
- Full name and contact information
- Order number
- Item(s) being returned
- Reason(s) for return
- Address
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item(s). If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. Please allow up to 14 days from when we receive your return for your account to be refunded.
Domestic-specific rules for returns:
- Customers who would like to receive a return label from caracats will be refunded $9.50 less than the amount paid for the order (minus initial order shipping costs and fees), if the return value is below $150, and if the returned order meets all other guidelines.
- Customers can also choose to pay for their own return shipment if desired. The amount of the returned items (minus initial order shipping costs and fees) will be refunded if the return meets all other guidelines.
- For a return value of $150 or more, customers will have to pay for and facilitate their own return shipment
International-specific rules for returns:
International customers will be responsible financially for their own return shipping and will be shipped at the risk of the customer. If the returned order meets all other guidelines, the customer will be refunded the amount of the items returned (minus initial order shipping costs and fees)
